The Government is changing the Solar PV Feed-in Tariff (FIT) and installation criteria. Effective from 1st August 2012 – homeowners considering Home Solar Panels must ensure that their properties meet an Energy Performance Certification (EPC) rating of at least ‘D’ to be eligible for the Feed-in Tariff of 15.44p per kW/h. Please note solar panels can count towards the EPC band D.
