The Famous Bristol Green Doors is back for 2012 with a weekend of over 40 open homes showcasing a range of measures reducing domestic energy consumption and promoting low-carbon living. All the homes are free to visit and owners will be on hand to demonstrate and explain how they work. Ethical Solar will be based at the Eco-Home over the weekend to showcase our low-carbon, recycled panel solar installation. Come down to the Create Centre to meet us at the weekend where we will be happy to answer your questions about solar panels.

March 17th- 18th 2012 (Saturday and Sunday) Meet the Installers
This event is related to Monmouthshire Community Climate Champion’s Eco-Open Homes. The event, held over Climate Week, will showcase up to 30 properties with retrofitted insulation, low energy lighting, renewable energy, rainwater harvesting and other eco features across Monmouthshire. Visitors will witness various eco technologies first hand and have the opportunity to ask property owners about installation and costs before considering purchasing their own systems. Ethical Solar will be attending the ‘meet the installers’ art of the event which will take place in Drill Hall, Lower Church Street, Chepstow, NP16 5HJ.

May 19th 2012 (Saturday) Sustainable Thornbury’s Eco-Fair
The fair will be held in the historic community-owned Chantry in the heart of Thornbury. The fair will be a fun way to find out about eco-living and the positive choices we can all make towards enjoying a low carbon future. Ethical Solar will be demonstrating the many benefits of renewable energy by hosting ‘How to make a solar panel’ workshops alongside our solar powered fountain and solar bugs!
