Installation
Your installation should only a take a couple of days. Most domestic installs take two days. We will need access to the inside and outside of your property throughout the install. You will most likely have scaffolding at your property for about a week.
A typical install involves:
- A suitable date to be agreed with the customer. Our average lead time is about 4 weeks.
- Scaffolding will be erected onsite just 2 days before the installation and will then be removed within a week of its completion.
- The installers will arrive onsite at about 8.30am in the morning.
- The majority of the work is done on the roof
- They will start by carefully measuring out your roof and working out placements for hooks, before installing a mounting system which is fixed using clamps fitted beneath your existing roof tiles.
- The installers will need to access the loft to install the inverter and a generation meter will be installed by the fuse box
- The installers usually finish at about 4 or 5 and a typical install should take 1-3 days and should not cause any damage to your roof or property at all.
